What are GG#4 Seeds?

GG#4 weed was first bred by GG Strains and is a cross of Chocolate Diesel, Sour Dubble and Chem’s Family. It has won tons of awards including a couple of Cannabis Cups. It’s no surprise that home growers want to grow their own supply of GG# 4.

Although we classify it as a near–balanced strain, you can get phenos that are moreover slightly Sativa or Indica dominant. According to stories buzzing around the 420 community, the GG# 4 strain’s actuality is a happy accident. According to legend it was created when a Sour Dubble factory was pollinated by a hermaphrodite Chem’s Family plant, producing the genetics that led to the cherished strain we know.

This unwanted pollination led to the crop being snappily destroyed, but crossbreeding some of the leftover seeds with Chocolate Diesel, redounded in the now– notorious GG#4 strain.

Aroma

GG# 4’s aroma is skunky and veritably pungent, evocative of an indoor cannabis ranch. It produces veritably sticky flowers, which helps explain its skunky odour. Also, you can detect notes of coffee and chocolate growing this succulent cannabis strain.

Taste

Its Sour Dubble lineage provides a sour apple taste, while Chocolate Diesel adds hints of chocolate and gasoline.

Appearance

The GG#4 plant has flowers that are densely packed with trichomes, with some small leaves and hairs sticking out. The flowers appear as if they have a sugar coating.
You’ll harvest tons of finger hash when trimming this strain as it’s carpeted in resin. This is reflective of its extreme energy.

Your GG#4 seeds can thrive outside or indoors. No matter where you grow your GG# 4 seeds, you’ll need to keep your scissors scraped during crop time because the tremendous amounts of resin will clog up your scissors. GG#4 auto grows fast which makes it ideal for low-stress training.

The ideal grow room temperature with lights on is around 80- 85 degrees Fahrenheit during the vegetative stage. You should drop the temperature by five degrees as the GG#4 plant enters the blooming phase. Keep the relative moisture( RH) position at 60 from the launch of veg, and lower it to 50 during the late flowering stage.

When grown outdoors, GG4 has a flowering time of 8 weeks and yields around 10- 16 ounces per plant. If you plan on growing it hydroponically also keep your scissors handy to do lots of trimming.
